The Little Push 4 Good is a charity with a simple but incredibly powerful mission: helping people take positive steps towards better mental health through activity, movement and connection.
Working alongside NHS Talking Therapy services, the charity provides grants that give people access to activities such as exercise, music, art and learning, recognising that recovery isn't only about treatment—it's also about helping people rediscover purpose, confidence and community.
Their vision, "A more active world for better mental health," resonates deeply with us because it reflects something we see every day: that the right support, at the right time, can change the direction of someone's life.
For us, this partnership isn't simply about fundraising. It's about standing alongside an organisation whose values closely mirror our own—putting people first, creating opportunities and believing that sometimes a small push really can make a life-changing difference.
Our founder, Dave Young, and the founder of The Little Push 4 Good, James Turton, have been connected professionally for many years, but were brought together again shortly before the launch of the charity, through their shared experiences of caring for loved ones experiencing serious mental illness.
They have experienced in the hardest way, how much pressure NHS mental health services are under and both felt compelled to “be the change “ in trying to ease some of the pressure on those services and, in doing so, help more people who experience poor mental health to access the support, activities and sense of community that can so often make such a positive difference.
